Here’s an attractive way to while away a summer Saturday: take the train (or tram) and check out a free performance at Roosevelt Island. From the end of May through early September, the Roosevelt Live festival features a different, high-quality act each Saturday. The lineup kicked off with comedy troublemakers Improv Everywhere and has featured everything from expertly crafted indie pop (Frances) to Latin psychedelia (Chicha Libre) in the weeks beyond.
