Traveling the Silk Road: Ancient Pathway to the Modern World offers a look into the distant past, when early civilizations were beginning to exchange goods via a trade route known as the Silk Road. Using four main stops, in China (source of the silkworms responsible for the route's name), Iraq and Uzbekistan, this exhibit shows how traveling merchants transmitted cultural knowledge from three continents and shaped history in the process.
