It might be off the beaten path of the typical New York museum tour, but this Staten Island collection dedicated to the maritime art and artifacts of John A. Noble is no less fascinating. The artist was known for his drawings and paintings of life on New York Harbor, as well as his collection of ship models and other curiosities. Perhaps the star attraction is Noble's art studio/houseboat, which was fashioned from the remnants of larger ships.
