New York City restaurants are open after Hurricane Sandy. Many of these venues lost supplies, food and days of business to the storm and could use your support as they get back on their feet. There's plenty in it for you: dining destinations throughout the five boroughs offer delicious renditions of virtually every type of cuisine imaginable.
With that in mind, use the resources below to find open eateries and support the City's recovery by tickling your taste buds:

Whether or not you live in New York City, Gilt City's Donate Today, Save Tomorrow program provides the opportunity to earn vouchers for discounts, consultations and other benefits at a wide range of businesses—including NYC restaurants—in exchange for donations to selected charities, such as the Mayor's Fund to Advance New York City, City Harvest and the Robin Hood Foundation.
