To be in New York City for Fashion's Night Out means bouncing from spot to spot, seeking out exclusive events with the fashion-forward hordes. But with all the extravagant shopping choices and celeb happenings going on, it's easy to be overwhelmed. Don't want to miss your chance to sip champagne alongside Grace Coddington or Donna Karan? The Spanish fashion house celebrates the launch of its limited-edition accessories capsule collection, created by creative-director super-duo Nicolas Ghesquière (Balenciaga) and Grace Coddington (Vogue). The line features drawings of Coddington's cat, Pumpkin, modeling Balenciaga looks.
Get to this landmark store starting at 3pm if you're looking for beauty and makeup inspiration from Aerin Lauder (Estée's granddaughter) or a funky manicure from Miss Pop. Later on, a book party for Scatter My Ashes at Bergdorf Goodman (released in time for the store's 111th anniversary) will bring out Bobbi Brown, Lela Rose, Michael Bastian, Naeem Khan, Rachel Zoe and Thakoon Panichgul, among others.
Meet high-end dress designer Carmen Marc Valvo and enter to win a fur statement piece from his fall collection, or head to the Magaschoni monogramming event, where Gossip Girl's Kelly Rutherford will be on hand. GQ magazine will be suiting men, and guests will receive a sizable discount on a tailored-clothing purchase. Meanwhile, shop the new military-inspired Marc by Marc Jacobs handbag collection and receive a special gift. At the downtown location, Aussie glam-rock label Backstage will showcase its fall collection with the help of Nylon magazine, and Converse will give your kicks a makeover for free with your in-store purchase.
Join designer Johan Lindeberg for a special celebration at his downtown BLK DNM flagship store. Shop Lindeberg’s denim-heavy collection, sip on complimentary tequila cocktails and Tiger Beer, and listen to a live performance by George Lewis Jr. of Twin Shadow.
Match your nails and lips with Chanel's exclusive Fashion's Night Out collection of matching lipstick and nail polishes, Les Twins-Sets de Chanel. Choose a set with vampy deep plum, mauve pink or soft beige with a hint of pink. Chanel's creative director of makeup, Peter Philips, will be at the SoHo and Midtown boutiques.
Celebrate New York's bravest at DKNY Loves FDNY, where the shirtless stars of the 2013 FDNY Calendar of Heroes will be autographing copies of the calendar. We spoke with photographer Patrick McMullan, who shot the calendar; he will join the FDNY at the event. Also on slate is a presentation of the DKNY x FEED collection, in collaboration with model Lauren Bush Lauren.

Meet Kim Kardashian, who will be promoting her new fragrance; reality star Jill Zarin, who has a jewelry line; and the entire BCBG Max Azria clan, who will be hosting jewelry and photo craft events. And, in celebration of Project Runway's 10th anniversary, meet designers from past seasons of the show.
Swing by M.A.C in SoHo, where super-stylized Harlem-born singer Azealia Banks, the new face of Alexander Wang's T line, will be performing. DJ Cosmo will be spinning all night.
Test your fashion knowledge with a trivia quiz hosted by Michael Kors, which coincides with the opening of The World's Largest Shoe Floor. Also appearing at Macy's are reality stars Scott Disick, who will be in the Men's Lounge, where you can purchase freshly rolled cigars, and Bethenny Frankel, who will promote her new line, Skinnygirl Smoothers n' Shapers. What Not to Wear cohost Clinton Kelly and Vogue senior accessories editor Rickie De Sole will also be hosting events.
Meet Margherita Missoni of zigzag-pattern powerhouse Missoni at the Italian brand's flagship NYC store. The family-run label is releasing a special collection of rings in support of Edodé Onlus, an Italian charity working in Mali to provide clean drinking water to village residents.
Gennarino the bear is a cute, cuddly Moschino mascot who will make his way from the Mediterranean to the Meatpacking District for this Goldilocks and the Three Bears–themed party. A limited-edition Gennarino iPhone case will be available for purchase at the store, and British fashion personality Alexa Chung will DJ a set.
Online clothing retailer Piperlime opens its first-ever boutique store on Fashion's Night Out, giving web shoppers the chance to purchase designer duds in person. Site contributor Rachel Zoe will be there to celebrate.
Saks Fifth Avenue
Meet Oscar de la Renta, who will launch his new fragrance, Essential Luxuries. Erin Fetherston, patron saint of the blunt bang, and hairstylist Edward Tricomi will be on hand to give you the designer's signature bangs. Enjoy a private consultation with Tom Pecheux, creative director of Estée Lauder, or get your nails stickered with Minx Nails. New York Knicks star Amar'e Stoudemire will also be in attendance.
Meet Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig, designers of couture fashion label Marchesa, at the Sephora in Midtown East. They're promoting the launch of the sweet-smelling Marchesa Parfum d'Extase.
Chelsea retailer STORY is a magazine-style boutique that changes up its concept and merchandise every four to eight weeks. In collaboration with the New York City Economic Development Corporation, STORY has launched Project Pop-Up NYC, a competition to promote start-up retailers. STORY will feature up to three winning vendors through the end of September. A panel of judges including fashion designer Norma Kamali and Lucky magazine editor-in-chief Brandon Holley chose the winners.
Alessandra Ambrósio, Brazilian supermodel and one of Victoria's many poorly kept secrets, will take photos and chat with fans at the SoHo store.
Fashion to Figure at Bay Plaza Shopping Center
Fashion to Figure will style customers and give away prizes all night.
Head to Brooklyn's Bird boutique for its exclusive designer collaborations with shoe house Loeffler Randall, Melissa Joy Manning, Project Runway winner Gretchen Jones and Whit (a line by Kate Spade's niece). A percentage of the proceeds will go to Habitat for Humanity. While you shop, sip on beverages provided by Tito's Vodka and Brooklyn Brewery.
This Prospect Heights boutique hosts Brooklyn designer Anna Bechtol and her new line of leggings, Love Zilla.
Queens Center Mall
Participating mall retailers will provide customer discounts and give away promotional items. There will also be styling segments music and refreshments.
BCBG Staten Island
