The spunky New York Jets are one game away from the Super Bowl. Most "experts" pick the Indianapolis Colts to win Sunday's AFC Championship Game, but Rex Ryan, Mark Sanchez, Shonn Greene and company have heard that before—just ask the San Diego Chargers.

January 21 was a green day in Times Square as Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg, former Gang Green greats and throngs of fans cheered the team at its pep rally. Manhattan was even (unofficially) renamed Revis Island until the end of the playoffs in honor of unstoppable cornerback Darrelle Revis (so Reggie Wayne better not try to catch a pass within the City limits). Fans can view the official “Welcome to Revis Island” sign (pictured above) at the Official NYC Information Center–Times Square Alliance during business hours through January 24. The Official NYC Information Center is located on Seventh Avenue between W. 46th and W. 47th Sts.

Post pro-Jets messages and photos of yourself and your friends supporting the team on Twitter and Flickr using the hashtag #jetsgo. We'll post our favorite photos as they come in, right here at nycgo.com/jetsgo.

Once the team wins, we'll go even further to support Gang Green in the Super Bowl. Forty-one years removed from Super Bowl III—another time pundits didn't give New York much of a chance against the (then Baltimore) Colts—the Jets are primed for another trip to the big game.

All together, now: J-E-T-S, Jets, Jets, Jets!
