Monkey Whistles & Motorbikes
No actual monkeys (or hogs) here, but you're sure to go ape over the variety of men's and women's clothing, shoes, bags, jewelry and other odds and ends—from faded old photos to Bob Dylan on vinyl to sea-green, '70s-era lamps—jammed into this tiny Park Slope shop. If you can handle the tight squeeze, settle in and treasure hunt at Motorbikes, Brooklyn's version of your grandparents' attic.

What's in store: Dresses from nearly every era (silk cocktail numbers, paisley frocks, ruffled polka-dot pieces), cowboy boots, dozens of wool and mohair sweaters, purses galore (they've actually started hanging them from the ceiling) and enough flannel to bring back grunge.

Price range: Most items are $15 to $40; some pieces (like a gently worn '60s red suede jacket) hit three figures.
