Celebrate New Year's Eve—Latin style. There are so many Latino parties, dinners and concerts in New York on December 31, it might be hard to choose just one. For all of those who want to burn the dance floor, there's salsa, Cuban son and even Brazilian forró festivities. On the dinner front, why not try some Latino fusion cuisine, with some live music to go along with it? There’s a little something for everyone—from the extravagant to the laid-back, the quirky to the traditional.

Sounds of Brazil at S.O.B.’s
S.O.B.’s is ready to bring in 2010 the right way—with samba, salsa and funk, that is. With live sets by La Excelencia, Kazua Band and DJ Spike, plus a yummy breakfast at dawn, S.O.B.’s has got you covered! Five-course dinner with caipirinhas available. 8pm, $25–$150

Paquito D’Rivera at Lincoln Center
Enjoy Afro-Cuban and Brazilian jazz with Paquito D’Rivera and the New York Voices at Jazz at Lincoln Center. Dinner and a show available at two different times with varying prices: savor a three-course meal and the concert for $150 at 6pm, or dine in the late evening with wine and ring in the New Year with Paquito at 10pm for $250.

Estilo Libre Latino Dinner at Rayuela
Say good-bye to 2009 as you enjoy some of the best Estilo Libre Latino cuisine (think traditional dishes with unconventional ingredients). Rayuela chef Maximo Tejada has put together an amazing menu, including a lobster salad, paella negra and a scrumptious chocolate pudding with caramelized onions. 9 or 9:30pm, $110

From Rio to Brooklyn at Miss Favela
This is a New Year’s party that will have you bringing in 2010 Brazilian style with a special menu and live music by the Gato Morto band and DJ Miller on the decks. We love Miss Favela for its lively atmosphere, exciting music and killer fruity drinks. NYE will surely not disappoint! 10pm–4am, $50

Forró for All and Matuto at Barbes
Brazilian accordion wizard Rob Curto and bluegrass guitar picker Clay Ross (of Matuto) combine repertoires for a full on Carnaval in the Appalachian Mountains. If Forró For All doesn’t keep you heated on the dance floor at Barbes, Clay’s eyes will be enough to make you melt! 10pm, $10

La Zarza’s Chic NYC
Party it up the last night of the year (and the first morning of 2010) at East Village hotspot La Zarza! Start the night off with Spanish hors d’oeuvres (9–11pm) and keep it going all night with an open bar (till 3am). Music? Of course! DJs will spin the latest dance, ’80s, rock, hip-hop and Top 40s. 9pm, $75–$125

Salsa Celebration at Club Cache
Mike Pena, Marlon Int’l and Joey Salsa host the night, while Xibicion Santo Rico and Lorenz Dance Co. perform live, at salsa haven Club Cache. Arrive early for dinner at 9pm (only $15 extra), and get the party kickin’ an hour later. 9pm, $20 advance tickets
