Thanks to Eli Manning's dogged resolve, Victor Cruz's blazing speed (not to mention surprising salsa-dancing abilities) and Lawrence Tynes' dependable right foot, the New York Giants are headed back to the Super Bowl, where they’ll face the New England Patriots.
Giants fans from New York City and far afield know their plans for February 5 (they'll involve much shouting at the TV set), but one question remains: where to watch? Worry not—we're here to help.
In 2014, when Super Bowl XLVIII comes to MetLife Stadium, New Yorkers will witness the country's most massive sporting spectacle in their own backyard. Until then, though—including on February 5—we'll have to watch the game on big-screen TVs like everyone else (on the bright side, this means we get to see the commercials, too). Below, we've included a list of just some of the public places where fans can eat, drink and gaze at said LCDs and plasma displays while cheering on their favorite team.
One final note: any coach worth his Gatorade will tell you that a successful Super Sunday is all about preparation, and that goes for fans as much as competitors. Wherever you'd like to watch the game, call ahead and ask whether your chosen venue requires reservations, minimum food or drink purchases, or anything else that might affect your viewing plans.
