The National September 11 Memorial & Museum has officially opened a preview area, giving the public the opportunity to learn more about the coming memorial and museum, and view the construction at the World Trade Center site. It also gives visitors a chance to share their 9/11 stories with the museum, which will be later interwoven into an exhibition within the museum and become part of the museum’s permanent collection.
