Isamu Noguchi and Qi Baishi studied together when Noguchi stopped in Beijing en route to Japan in 1930. It was during this time that Noguchi created his iconic Peking Scroll Drawings. In this, its only East Coast venue, the exhibit brings together drawings, ink paintings, calligraphy and sculptures by the two artists, which have never previously been displayed together.
