Alcoholics Anonymous traces its roots to a 1929 meeting between New York stockbroker Bill Wilson and Bob Smith, an Ohio surgeon. The two men along with their wives—who formed Al Anon—are intricately tied with the history of AA. This play, which has been shown in more than 30 states and all around the world, tells the story of Wilson and Smith's meeting and promotes alcoholism education through theater.
