Brazilian Day
description/
The Brazilian Day festival is a spirited annual celebration of Brazil's Independence Day and the country's culture in New York City and around the world. Now in its 28th year, the festivities include Brazilian music, dance, food and more (though the food isn't free, so don't forget to bring some cash if you want a literal taste of Brazil). The event, held from 11am to 5pm, features singers Luan Santana and Netinho and the band Exaltasamba. The main stage is located at Sixth Avenue and West 43rd Street, but the festival extends over the surrounding 25 blocks, in the area known as "Little Brazil," and attracts more than 1 million people.
