World-renowned glass sculptor Dale Chihuly is famous for his intricate and stunning blown-glass works of art. Returning to the New York Botanical Garden after more than 10 years, Chihuly’s works will be displayed through monumental installations strategically placed throughout the garden’s glorious landscapes. Also included will be some of the artist’s drawings, and on certain evenings (dubbed “Chihuly Nights”) his glass sculptures will be lit, creating a dramatic backdrop for nighttime cocktails, performance art and other events. As well there will be educational programming for young children.
