This parody that pokes fun at faith, politics, gun control and “The Twitter” finds a senator named Charlie Whitmore, who has decided to come clean three days before his reelection and tell the public how he really feels and what he really thinks. Writer Jason Odell Williams was inspired by the shooting tragedies at Virginia Tech, Aurora and Newtown, and decided to create a play with heart and humor that evokes the real human spirit. Markus Potter directs.
