New York City is made up of five boroughs: the Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens and Staten Island. Each one has enough attractions—and enough personality—to be a city all its own. Learn more about them with this guide.
Jazz played a key role during the Harlem Renaissance and that influence continues today. This exhibit, in collaboration with the National Jazz Museum in Harlem, celebrates that history through the stories of Duke Ellington, Ella Fitzgerald, Bill “Bojangles” Robinson, Billie Holliday and Mary Lou Williams, among others.
The exhibit also includes weekly live performances by jazz artists and dance companies. For more information and the complete schedule of public programming, visit cmom.org.
