Couples are invited to celebrate Valentine's Day and renew their vows at a 6pm public ceremony on the appropriately red-hued steps of the TKTS booth in Duffy Square. Afterwards, they can check out this year's winner of the annual Times Square Valentine Heart Design Competition called We Were Strangers Once Too, designed by the Office for Creative Research. Made up of 33 poles of different sizes and hues which form a heart depending on the viewer's perspective, this sculptural expression of love also includes recent census data regarding immigration and NYC's foreign-born population meant to illuminate the City's diversity.
