NYCGO Logo The 11th annual PEN World Voices Festival of International Literature recognizes writers who have taken risks to challenge the status quo. This year’s theme is “On Africa,” celebrating contemporary literary movements from across Africa and the diaspora. The week includes a list of headlining writers like Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie (who co-curated the events and will be delivering the festival’s closing address), Teju Cole, Edwidge Danticat and Ngũgĩ wa Thiong’o. For more information, visit worldvoices.pen.org.
