Janet Ruttenberg's love of Central Park is well documented. In this exhibit, the artist uses watercolors, oils and video to highlight the Park's beauty and its role as a New York City icon. Of special focus in Picturing Central Park are Ruttenberg's depictions of Sheep Meadow, the Literary Walk and its statue of Shakespeare, and the statue of General Sherman that stands in Grand Army Plaza.
