New York City is home to one of the world's most vibrant, thriving gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender communities. The City embraces its incredible diversity as a source of strength, and that's never clearer than it is during Pride Week, when neighborhoods throughout the five boroughs celebrate the progress made in NYC and beyond since the Stonewall Riots of 1969.
