Quiet clubbing enables partygoers to enjoy loud music and a good time without having to worry about noise ordinances and other problems associated with blaring music. Each participant is given a pair of wireless headphones upon arrival—which is where the music is piped in—and when you take your headphones off you can have actual conversations or just give your ears a break. At this weekend festival in Coney Island, there will be nine DJs spinning on three different channels along with visual entertainment like fire twirlers, LED hula dancers, face painting, LED robots and glow-in-the-dark gear. Food and drink is also available for purchase. For tickets and information, visit quietevents.com.
