Radiant Light: Stained Glass from Canterbury Cathedral

The final exhibition in celebration of the Cloisters' 75th anniversary brings six Romanesque-era windows from England's Canterbury Cathedral to New York. These windows, which have not left the cathedral precincts since their creation in the late 12th century, depict nearly life-size figures that were part of an original series of 86 ancestors of Christ, considered to be the most comprehensive stained-glass cycle of its kind.
