Tennessee Williams’ classic American tale comes to life once again on Broadway. The four-character memory play that put Williams on the map—and has strong autobiographical influences from the writer’s own life—has experienced many revivals on the Great White Way. This time it stars Sally Field as Amanda Wingfield, Joe Mantello as Tom Wingfield, Finn Wittrock (Death of a Salesman) as the Gentleman Caller and newcomer Madison Ferris as Laura Wingfield. Sam Gold (who won the Tony for Fun Home and is also set to direct A Doll’s House, Part 2) will be at the helm.
