Thomas Jefferson is best known as a founder, president and political icon. However, he was also an accomplished gardener, farmer and architecht. This exhibit explores his life outside the public sphere through more than thirty documents and artifacts from the Massachusetts Historical Society including his last letter to John Adams, early drawings of Monticello, and a copy of the Declaration of Independence written in his own hand.
