New York City has long been a place where people could come for opportunities they couldn’t have elsewhere. In the spirit of that tradition, this event at Central Park’s Delacorte Theater is meant to remind those suffering around the world that our fair City will welcome them with open arms. The evening kicks off with a naturalization ceremony, followed by readings and musical performances. The event is free but requires tickets, which will be distributed beginning at noon on June 20 at the Delacorte Theater, the Public Theater and through an online ticket lottery.
