One of the most important collections of Meissen porcelain is owned by New Yorker Henry Arnhold whose family is descended from the area around Dresden where the porcelain has been made for centuries.  An exhibition of seventy pieces from this esteemed collection will be on view in the new Portico Gallery, the first major addition to the museum's display spaces in nearly thirty-five years.
