December 1, 2013 – April 6, 2014
New York Public Library
Fifth Ave. (at 42nd St.)
Manhattan, NY 10018
On the heels of New-York Historical Society's AIDS in New York exhibit, it's the Library's turn to tackle NYC's AIDS history. This exhibit, mounted in honor of World AIDS' Day, recognizes the work of the people who tended the sick, challenged prejudices against people living with HIV, educated their communities, and fought for resources and research.
