description/
Jainism is one of the three major religions in India (in addition to Buddhism and Hinduism). Like Buddhism, its goal is to break free from the cycle of rebirths and achieve nirvana. This exhibit features images of the Jinas—the founding figures of Jainism who are objects of devotion within the religion. Victorious Ones will display paintings and sculptures of the Jinas, painted maps of the Jain universe, images of famous pilgrimmages and other artifacts related to this religion.
