Frits Lugt was a respected art historian and collector of European drawings and prints—this exhibition displays a finely curated selection of 64 18th- and 19th-century French drawings and watercolors from Lugt's trove. Rarely exhibited works by masters such as Ingres, Fragonard and Delacroix (just a few of the artists in between the show's namesakes Watteau and Degas) prove Lugt's keen eye and passion for the period.
