description/
Swiss artist Urs Fischer's exhibition Marguerite de Ponty at the New Museum fills the whole museum, creating a seductive and immersive environment from a combination of works new and old. Known for working in a wide range of media, from fruit and wood to Styrofoam and glass, Fischer's artistic practice is concerned with his work materials themselves, and the ways in which they interact with each other. This show represents a decidedly non-traditional display of an uncommon artist.
