The focus of this three-part exhibition at the Lincoln Square branch of the American Folk Art Museum is on New York artists from the past to the present. A wide-ranging sample of 18th- and 19th-century New York folk art—from quilts and paintings to statues and stoneware—complements the 20th-century work by Bronx-born Malcah Zeldis (13 vibrant paintings), and Vestie Davis’ lovingly rendered paintings and drawings of iconic New York sites.
