The largest NYC borough, Queens offers lots to see and do, which accounts for its expanding slate of hotel offerings. Take the 7 subway line from Times Square or Grand Central for a quick ride to this culturally diverse borough, where culinary delights like kebabs, dumplings, tacos and fresh seafood await. Contemporary art buffs always find something new, too, at MoMA PS1 and SculptureCenter in Long Island City, while those interested in TV and movie history enjoy the Museum of the Moving Image in Astoria. There is much to do outdoors as well. At Flushing Meadows–Corona Park (the City’s second largest), you can join in a recreational sports game, see the Mets play ball at Citi Field and smell budding spring roses at the Queens Botanical Garden.
