Donatella, a Neapolitan pizza restaurant in Chelsea, is the latest and most personal project of restaurateur/chef Donatella Arpaia. Reverence to Naples has been painstakingly etched into every detail, and Donatella turns out a rave-inducing, true-to-Naples pie. The offerings include marinara, margarita, diavolo with spicy sausage and chili oil, cappellacio with charred and marinated mushrooms, as well as the Enzo (which features smoked mozzarella, pecorino, rapini and sausage) and the Donatella (with piennelo de vesuvio tomatoes, stracciatella, rocket lettuce and basil). Classic Neapolitan dishes are also served, as well as house-made Italian pastries and an extensive wine, cocktail and beer menu.
