The Pennsy

This attractive, industrial food hall near Penn Station and Madison Square Garden knits together some of the City's top food purveyors, from butcher Pat LaFrieda to vegan master Adam Sobel (the man behind the Cinnamon Snail). Mario Batali has a hand in Mario by Mary, an Italian fast-casual concept; his partner, Mary Giuliani, is a major caterer. Franklin Becker offers vegetable-centric fare at Little Beet, and chef Marc Forgione is behind Lobster Press, which features hot lobster sandwiches, coconut lobster bisque and chili lobster salad. There's a bar for coffee and one for alcohol, so pretty much all bases are covered.
