Bearded dandies and casually fashionable women populate the mismatched tables and school chairs at Tiny's, the coolest old-timey place to appear in TriBeCa this year. The restaurant and upstairs cocktail bar are housed in a circa-1810, salmon pink townhouse, complete with tin ceilings, exposed brick and a fireplace. It's cramped, but not all that tiny (except for the kitchen, which elicits sympathy for the cooks). The starry lineup of partners—Matt Abramcyk (Smith & Mills, Warren 77, The Bunker Club, The Beatrice Inn) and Rangers hockey players Sean Avery and Henrik Lundqvist—explains the immediate influx of beautiful people. They sip coffee from patterned china cups and sup from the all-American menu of friendly standbys, like a big Cobb salad, turkey chili and a burger topped with blue cheese and a fried egg.
