Owners Yvette Leeper-Bueno and Adrian Bueno run this Harlem corner restaurant that balances delicious food, sophisticated design and a neighborhood feel, alongside husband-and-wife culinary team chef Gustavo Lopez (Scarpetta, Del Posto, DBGB) and Gabriela Davogustto (Boqueria, Wallse, Locanda Verde). Vinatería's menu starts with a selection of cheese and charcuterie imported from Spanish butchers and dairy farmers. In an interesting take on tapas, menu items are grouped by plate sizes: small, medium and large. Jonsara Ruth, director of interior design at Parsons, utilized repurposed, vintage materials, making environmental consciousness and social awareness key elements to the enoteca's interiors.
