Big Onion Walking Tours
This tour, which likens New York City to an onion's many layers, takes tour goers on daily jaunts to neighborhoods whose history can be “peeled back.” The company's Lower Manhattan tour stops at Trinity Church, a stunning Gothic Revival building that was once one of the tallest structures in the area. During the East Village tour, visitors get a sense of the area's past with visits to St. Mark's Church-in-the-Bowery and the Marble Cemetery. And of course Harlem's vast history and culture are highlighted on one of the company's tours.
