Kennedy's Bar & Restaurant
327 W. 57th St., 212-759-4242, Midtown West, Manhattan
After a cold-weather jaunt through Central Park, retreat to this Midtown favorite, where traditional Irish dishes like shepherd's pie and lamb stew (sometimes offered as a special) can be paired with equally traditional pours. The bar is adorned with shamrock lights, Irish flags and Guinness memorabilia, leaving no question of this taproom's allegiance. Sit by the brick fireplace while sipping a crème de menthe, Bailey's coffee or one of nine whiskeys and single malts, leaving the chilly air far behind.
