This SoHo shop's looks have been featured everywhere from Nylon to GQ on actresses like Evan Rachel Wood and Taryn Manning. Head toward the back for a selection of vintage wear in such tip-top condition, you'd think they were part of Flying A's inventory of new goods—which includes its iconic T-shirts and totes, oodles of men's and women's apparel and a fat crop of skinny jeans. Vintage boots and shoes are scattered throughout, and there are plenty of leather belts to choose from.
What's in store: Flying A vintage is centered around three types of clothing: airy dresses from the '60s, '70s and '80s; tanks; and Western shirts for ladies and gents. The selection isn't huge, but every piece is essentially in mint condition. If you don't see something, though, ask the staff—they're constantly bringing up goods from downstairs.
Price range: Dresses typically range from $100 to $150, tanks are around $30 and button-downs are about $50.
