Halloween in NYC
Each Halloween, NYC offers some of the spookiest and spine-chilling family fun around—in all five boroughs. Consider the long-running Bronx Zoo's Boo at the Zoo, with haunted houses, crafts, hayrides and a chance for an up-close encounter with some creepy critters. For some small-town spookiness, visit Staten Island's Halloween in Richmond Town, which re-creates a retro 1950s celebration, or the 17th-century Queens County Farm Museum Haunted House. Prospect Park's Haunted Halloween Walk & Carnival is fun for kids and grown-ups alike, as is Enchanted Wave Hill Weekend; view intricately carved pumpkins at the Haunted Pumpkin Garden at The New York Botanical Garden; and tour one of the City's most spectacular museums at the annual Halloween Celebration at the American Museum of Natural History.
