when do you want to visit nyc?

If January is any indication, 2013 is going to be a very happy year indeed. The month's slate of events features a number of returning favorites, like NYC Restaurant Week Winter, Broadway Week and Off-Broadway Week—three great ways to take advantage of dining and theater deals around town. Elsewhere, urban cowboys (and cowgirls) won't want to miss the Pro Bull Riders Madison Square Garden Invitational; those with more refined tastes will want to browse the wares on offer at the Winter Antiques Show; and fans of husky-voiced starlet Scarlett Johansson should head to Broadway, where the actress is appearing in a production of Tennessee Williams' Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. Other highlights include Winter Jazzfest and the Outsider Art Fair. View the full slideshow for more information on these and January's other happenings.
