It has been eight years since Neil Young has performed with Crazy Horse. The legendary crew heads to New York City fresh off the release of their folk-cover compilation, Americana, in June, and the October 30 debut of Psychedelic Pill, their first album of new material since 1996. Young told Rolling Stone that fans should expect a mix of "the past, the present and the future." They're joined by the always-poetic Patti Smith—whose first LP in eight years with original material, Banga, hit shelves in June.
