Voices From Latin America

Carnegie Hall pays tribute to the melodies and rhythms of Latin America with more than 70 events. Featuring Brazilian singer-songwriter Gilberto Gil, Afro-Cuban pianist-composer Chucho Valdés and Venezuelan conductor Gustavo Dudamel, the festival runs the gamut from bossa nova to symphonies. A special tribute to Mexican singer Chavela Vargas, a documentary film festival on Latin American Music at 92YTribeca and a poetry slam at the New York Public Library are among the other happenings associated with Voices From Latin America.
