  • The Art of Scent 1889–2012

    The Art of Scent, at the Museum of Arts and Design, is the first major museum exhibition dedicated to olfactory art, curated by author Chandler Burr. It focuses on 12 key fragrances that date from 1899 (Aimé Guerlain's Jicky) through the present and looks at major developments in the evolution and design of fragrance, as well as the creative process behind them. Other featured artists include Ernest Beaux (Chanel N°5), Bernard Chant (Aromatics Elixir), Olivier Cresp (Angel) and Annie Buzantian and Alberto Morillas (Pleasures).
