The holiday season in NYC kicks into full gear in November, with a number of recurring events such as the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree Lighting, the New York Botanical Garden Holiday Train Show and George Balanchine's The Nutcracker—to name just a few. Other returning favorites include the New York Chocolate Show, the ING New York City Marathon and the Margaret Mead Film Festival.
