Ship of Tolerance
September 27–October 13
On its journey around the world, art project The Ship of Tolerance comes to NYC in conjunction with the DUMBO Arts Festival. The boat will be built in Staten Island and adorned with the artwork of hundreds of NYC children, conveying messages of tolerance and acceptance. After a stint on the Brooklyn waterfront (September 27–October 5), it moves to Franklin D. Roosevelt Four Freedoms Park (October 6–8) and will be on view at Staten Island's Atlantic Salt Yard (October 9–13).
