As fall approaches—the season often thought to showcase New York City at its most beautiful—visitors to the five boroughs can take part in many noteworthy annual events including the Brooklyn Book Festival, the Feast of San Gennaro and the DUMBO Arts Festival. September also brings some exciting new happenings, like a special 10-show run of performances by Sting at the Public Theater; Ship of Tolerance, a floating installation featuring the artwork of hundreds of NYC children; and a four-game Yankees vs. Red Sox series in the Bronx.
