Shows include Billy Joel tribute group Big Shot, Louisiana guitarists The Malone Brothers and quirky cover band The Nerds. And the party isn't confined to New York City proper. Come autumn, events like daylong booze cruises make their way upstate with a stop-off at Bear Mountain State Park's annual Oktoberfest.
