  • Fall at Queens County Farm Museum
    September 20–November 9
This fall the Queens County Farm Museum presents six weeks of family-friendly, harvest-themed activities, starting with the 32nd annual Queens County Fair, an old-fashioned weekend of blue-ribbon livestock competitions, pie-eating contests, midway games, carnival rides and entertainment galore. There's plenty going on even after the carny barkers pack up their wares—you'll have fun getting lost in the Amazing Maize Maze, using clues to find your way out of the intricately designed corn labyrinth; picking pumpkins at the Pumpkin Patch; dressing the kids up in costume for the Children's Fall Festival, at which they can enjoy games, pony rides and a petting zoo; and visiting the family-friendly—but creepy—Halloween Haunted House.
