Fall is considered by many to be the best season in New York City, with a crisp bite in the air and beautiful foliage. But the weather isn't the only reason to get out and do something in the City. As we transition from warm weather to cooler temperatures, the City's events also make the move from outdoor earlier in the season—such as Fashion's Night Out and the Village Halloween Parade—to indoor, like mid-November's The New York Botanical Garden Holiday Train Show and George Balanchine's The Nutcracker, just in time for the holidays. Also on tap this season are some returning favorites like the ING New York City Marathon and the Radio City Christmas Spectacular.
